Anglesey Abbey - Silver birch trees in winter
From an original oil painting I created in 2017. If you know Anglesey Abbey
then you’ll know the famous silver birches at the end of the winter garden.
They are beautiful all through the year, but the winter is very special with the
bright white trunks standing out against the bare branches, lit by the low
sunshine.

Anglesey Abbey - Mill on a sunny winter day
From an original oil painting I created in 2017. Centuries old, Lode Mill has been
restored and is in perfect working order. Visitors can see how grain is turned into
fresh wholemeal flour. It provides a beautiful focal point to the magnificent trees
lining the river.

Limited edition framed prints
The prints are limited editions of 25 that I make in my studio, here in Ely,
Cambridgeshire UK. I carefully colour match the image to the original painting and
print to Giclée standard on the industry-standard fine art printer, the Epson 4880. I
use only the original manufacturer’s ink for outstanding lightfastness.

Ely Cathedral in winter from St Mary’s St
From an original oil painting I created in 2018. The view from St Mary’s St is
beautiful all year round, but in winter Ely Cathedral appears through the trees in
The Old Fire Station garden and creates an evocative scene.

Wicken Fen distant windmill
From an original oil painting I created in 2017. Just 10 miles from Ely, Wicken
Fen was the first nature reserve owned by the National Trust. Today it is one of
Europe's most important wetlands home to over 9000 species. This iconic view
of the Windmill in Autumn is from a bridge over a dyke feeding the millpond.

Wicken Fen mill reflected in millpond
From an original oil painting I created in 2017. Wicken Corn Windmill is a large
Cambridgeshire smock mill built in 1813 and is still capable of producing flour
today. This picture is not upside down but is actually the reflection you see
standing on the footbridge over the dyke feeing the millpond.
